Consultation before every treatment

I'm afraid it will look artificial. That my face will be different afterwards.
AI-generatedDr. Ráti Róbert
My aim is not to create a different face. After a good treatment you should still see yourself in the mirror, only more harmonious, fresher and better rested.
Question
Does more filler mean a better result?
Dr. Ráti Róbert
No.
The right indication, the right product, the quantity and the anatomical technique decide it.
The aim is often not to add volume but to improve proportion.
Question
Is there ever a case where you say no?
Dr. Ráti Róbert
I do not treat someone simply because they are willing to pay for it.
If there is no proper medical indication, or the procedure would be anatomically risky, I do not perform it.

What would make you stop in the middle of a treatment?
Dr. Ráti Róbert
Any unexpected pain, change in skin colour, suspicion of a circulatory problem, allergic reaction, faintness or any other sign that puts safety in question.
At that point the aesthetic goal immediately becomes secondary.

Question
What will you ask me before you agree to treat me?
Dr. Ráti Róbert
- What bothers you and what you would like to achieve;
- whether you have had a similar treatment before;
- what illnesses, allergies and medications you have;
- whether there has been a previous operation or complication;
- whether you are pregnant or breastfeeding;
- whether there is any current infection or inflammation;
- and what result you would consider acceptable.
More questions
What exactly does it mean that the result will look natural?
Dr. Ráti Róbert
The result fits your own proportions, your expressions and your age. No single feature becomes prominent; the overall impression becomes more harmonious.
How long is the recovery, and when can I work or exercise again?
Dr. Ráti Róbert
It depends on the treatment. In general, avoid unnecessary pressure on and massaging of the treated area, intense sport, saunas and significant heat, and excessive alcohol. Every patient receives written aftercare instructions for their specific treatment; any different medical instruction takes precedence.
Are there situations where a treatment is not advisable?
Dr. Ráti Róbert
For a minor I would consider an aesthetic procedure only in exceptional, medically justified cases and in line with the applicable rules. In case of pregnancy, breastfeeding, an active infection, acute inflammation, an unstable state of health or unrealistic expectations, I postpone the planned aesthetic treatment or decline it.

PatientWhich treatment would suit my particular problem, and is a consultation needed first?
If the problem comes mainly from significant excess skin, tissue laxity or an anatomical difference that injections could only mask by overtreating, a surgical solution may be more suitable. For milder volume loss, skin-quality problems or smaller asymmetries, a minimally invasive treatment may often be enough. The decision is always made after a personal medical consultation.
